Materials that can be carved: wood, some plastics, paper, bamboo, horns, thin leather (wallets), rubber stamps, photosensitive stamps, printing paper (as long as they are used for carving, there are fewer materials that can be cut), Materials that burn easily, such as sponge paper.
Materials that cannot be engraved: Metal (regardless of thickness), stone, ceramics, jewelry, jade, transparent glass, ivory, colorless and transparent materials, some white plastics (generally very smooth plastics are difficult to engrave)
Materials that can be cut: sponge paper, thin leather, printing paper (as long as it is used for carving, there are fewer materials that can be cut)
